Best Jitsu Ranking

Jitsu is the name this wiki uses for the spin-power layer of +1 Spinjitsu Escape: the upgrades that make your Spinjitsu tornado actually hurt walls. Cosmic-style power in the official blurb is the same idea with prettier words. If your smash number is too low, World 1–4 stages do not care how many eggs you hatched, how nice the tornado looks, or how many people are spinning next to you on a ten-player server.

This page ranks upgrade priorities, not invented item names. The live shop can relabel a row after any patch. The wall in front of you cannot. Use it with the how to play loop, the worlds walkthrough, rebirth math, and the potion planner so a 2x window is not wasted on the wrong button.

What Jitsu is buying you

Every session is a check: can this tornado chip the next wall, and how long does a stage take once it can? Wins exist to push that check. Eggs, pets, and fuse exist to multiply a check that already passes. Rebirth exists to raise the baseline after you have proven the loop.

A useful way to think about cosmic-style upgrades: they are not a separate game mode. They are later rungs on the same smash ladder. Early Jitsu gets you off the tutorial walls. Mid Jitsu carries World 2 and World 3. Late Jitsu is why World 4 is a patch note instead of a brick wall you screenshot for Discord. If you skip rungs to buy something shiny, you will feel busy and still lose to the same stage.

Hold spin. Watch the wall. If damage is a scratch, you are in a Jitsu problem. If damage is fine and Wins feel slow, you are in a pet or potion problem — that is the other list. If both are fine and the next world is gated, you are in a worlds routing problem, not a shop-identity crisis.

S through D upgrade priorities

This is a progression-value ranking. Live shop names change. The levers do not.

TierFund thisWhy it sits here
SJitsu / spin powerWalls only respect smash. Cosmic-style upgrades that raise the tornado are the bottleneck in every world.
SHigh-rarity pets you already ownMultipliers on a working spin. Do not sell or ignore a strong companion to buy a cosmetic.
S2x Jitsu or 2x Wins potions during a planned pushDouble a session that can already break the target wall. Dead on a wall you cannot chip.
AWins dumped into eggsVolume path to better pets after smash is not the limiter.
AFuse food that completes a stronger petCopies become power instead of inventory sludge.
BCosmetic / impulse shopFun, visible, and irrelevant to World 4 walls. Buy it after the stage dies.
CSpreading Wins across every lit buttonLooks like “upgrading everything.” Delays the next wall break.
DSpending inside a potion window on the wrong resourceCosmetics or random clicks while 2x Jitsu is ticking is the worst timing in the game.

Read the table top-down as a spending order, not as a moral score. B is allowed. D is a timing foul.

When cosmic-style upgrades beat eggs

Eggs are not bad. Eggs are late relative to smash. Buy them when:

  • The current stage chips cleanly while you hold spin.
  • You are not about to rebirth in the next few minutes.
  • You have a plan to fuse copies instead of hoarding commons.

Buy more Jitsu instead when:

  • The wall does not move.
  • You just entered a new world (especially World 4 after the late-August 2026 patch) and the smash check jumped.
  • A 2x Jitsu potion is active and you still have shop ranks you can afford.

A practical split many grinders use: keep a Wins buffer equal to the next Jitsu rank you actually need. Everything above that buffer can go to eggs. If the next rank is huge, the buffer is the plan — sitting on Wins is not cowardice, it is refusing to miss a smash breakpoint because you panic-hatched.

Cosmic-style power also beats eggs when you are routing worlds. Moving from World 2 to World 3, or World 3 to World 4, is a smash exam. Pets you hatch on the exam do not grade the paper in time. Rank up the tornado, clear the gate, then convert surplus Wins into companions.

Rebirth timing versus dumping into spin

Rebirth is a multiplier with a reset attached. The Jitsu list still applies after you click it — you will restack spin power first — but the click itself should not land in the middle of an S-tier shopping spree you cannot keep.

Rebirth when:

  • The extra multiplier pays back the lost ranks faster than grinding the current ranks would.
  • Pets you already fused stay valuable (they are the part of the kit that survives as boost identity even when temporary smash ranks drop).
  • You are not mid-potion. Popping 2x Wins and then rebirthing the session into a weak tornado is how you donate a potion to the void.

Do not rebirth because you are bored of a wall. That wall is telling you to fund Jitsu or to leave and come back with codes and a potion plan. Boredom is not a breakpoint.

After a rebirth, the table restarts at S: buy smash until the current world chips, then eggs, then fuse, then cosmetics if you insist. The potion planner exists so the first real push after a reset happens with 2x running, not with you “testing” a dead wall for ten minutes.

A live session using this list

  1. Confirm controls and the smash loop on how to play so you are not fighting the camera while you rank spend.
  2. Look at the next wall in your current world. Chip or no chip?
  3. No chip: Jitsu ranks only. Ignore eggs. Ignore cosmetics. If a 2x Jitsu potion is ready, this is the window.
  4. Chip: dump surplus Wins into eggs, then fuse copies, then consider whether rebirth math is close.
  5. World gate: treat it like no-chip even if yesterday’s world felt easy. World 4 is a new smash check, not a new genre.
  6. After the session, write down what you bought. If the list says S and you bought B, that is the only review that matters.

Shared servers do not change this order. Another player’s giant tornado is not a loot drop. It is a preview of what funded Jitsu looks like. Copy the spend pattern, not the outfit.

If you only remember one sentence from this ranking, remember this: spin power is the only S-tier you cannot skip, potions are S-tier only when the wall is already legal, and eggs are how you convert leftover Wins into a multiplier that still works after the next rebirth. Everything else is a reward for having already broken the stage — including the pretty shop rows that will have different names the next time Speedsters Basement ships a patch. Come back to this page when a wall stops moving; do not come back to argue about labels that the live catalog can replace without warning.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, Jitsu, fuse, and World 4.

What should I upgrade first in +1 Spinjitsu Escape?

Jitsu / spin power until the current wall chips while you hold spin. Cosmic-style smash upgrades beat eggs, fuse, and cosmetics until that check passes. See the S–D table above.

When do eggs beat more Jitsu?

When smash is already fine and you are not about to rebirth. Then Wins become an A-tier dump into eggs, which you turn into lasting boosts on the pets list.

Should I use 2x potions before my spin is strong?

No. A 2x Jitsu or 2x Wins potion on a wall you cannot chip doubles a failure. Plan the window with the potion planner after the tornado can actually break the target stage.

How does rebirth interact with this ranking?

Rebirth resets temporary ranks and keeps a multiplier. Do not dump S-tier Jitsu you are about to lose. After the click, restack smash first using rebirth as the timing guide, not as a skip button.

Why are there no named Jitsu items on this list?

Because live shop names change. This is a progression-value ranking of levers — spin power, potions, eggs, fuse food, impulse cosmetics — so it stays useful after a rename.

Does World 4 change the Jitsu order?

It raises the smash check. You still fund Jitsu first; you just need more of it. Route the new stages with the worlds walkthrough instead of inventing a new shop religion.
